A Passion For Words

My name is Raphaëlle Dedourge. I have studied languages and translation. I have a 3-year degree in English for Business, a 4-year degree in German Literature, and a 5-year degree from the ESIT, École Supérieure d’Interprètes et de Traducteurs in Paris, France.

I am also a member of ATLF (Association des Traducteurs Littéraires de France).

I support brands that respect the environment and empower women.

I am the Founder of “Les Nouvelles Voix – Les Indépendantes de Berlin,” the community of French-speaking female freelancers. We meet 3 or 4 times a month to share our knowledge, our skills and our stories.

I have lived in 5 different countries (England, USA, France, Germany and Belgium), which has given me an in-depth understanding of cultural differences and the localisation process.

I volunteer as a French Tutor at Berlin Metropolitan School.
